Companion services offer non-medical social support and engagement. Our planned approach follows the person’s interests and helps make room for the conversations and activities they enjoy.
Support may include
- Conversation, reading and shared interests
- Encouragement to take part in enjoyable everyday activities
- Support for social connection and community engagement, when authorized
- A respectful presence that follows the individual’s preferences and plan
What to know before starting
Activities and settings must be allowed under the applicable service definition and individual authorization. This service description does not promise transportation, hands-on personal care, skilled nursing or medical supervision.
Empower Life Services LLC is currently completing Nebraska Medicaid AD Waiver agency enrollment. Availability is not yet confirmed, and an inquiry does not establish a service agreement or guarantee eligibility or coverage.
