Private-pay personal assistance is available in Omaha, Nebraska. See current services and pricing. The personal care description below concerns a separate planned AD Waiver service.

All private-pay services have a 3-hour minimum per visit. Personal Assistance is $32/hour; Companion Services and Caregiver Relief / Respite are $30/hour.

Personal care is non-medical help with daily personal routines. Our planned approach is to encourage participation and independence while respecting each person’s privacy, comfort and choices.

Support may include

• Assistance with bathing, grooming and dressing, when authorized
• Support with toileting and other personal routines, as authorized
• Help with eating and daily activities within the approved service plan
• Encouragement to use existing skills and make everyday choices

What to know before starting

Specific tasks, staffing and schedules must fit the applicable service definition, individual authorization and staff qualifications. Personal care described here does not include skilled nursing, medical treatment or a promise of medication administration.

Empower Life Services LLC is currently completing Nebraska Medicaid AD Waiver agency enrollment. Availability for the planned waiver service is not yet confirmed, and an inquiry does not establish a service agreement or guarantee eligibility or coverage.
